Description The study is focused on expanding current understanding of facies and microfacies analysis of the Famennian Hády-Říčka Limestone of the Líšeň Formation in the Hády quarry, that were studied in the bachelor thesis of the author. In addition, conodont biostratigraphy and event stratigraphy were studied. In total, 17 sections were studied in the lower, middle, and upper Famennian sequence and were merged into 4 composite sections. Field and laboratory methods of study were utilized including petrographic, sedimentologic and biostratigraphic methods. 8 litofacies types were defined and interpreted as calciturbidites (limestones of the LF5, LF6b and LF7 litofacies), hemipelagites (shales and marls of the LF1, LF3 and LF4 litofacies), distal clastic turbidites (shales of the LF2 litofacie) and Atempestites of the middle carbonate ramp (limestones of the LF6a and LF8 facies). Depositional environment was interpreted based on sedimentary tructures of the turbidites and on the changes in the calciturbidites and hemipelagites ratio through time. In the earliest Famennian, shallow environment of the middle carbonate ramp was present. Carbonate ramp was drowned and deep marine sedimentation in the distal environment near base of the carbonate slope followed between Palmatolepis minuta minuta and Palmatolepis crepida conodont zones. Deposition in the deep environment continued during the Palmatolepis crepida and Palmatolepis marginifera marginifera conodont zones. Continual progradation of the turbidite system occurred between Palmatolepis marginifera marginifera and Palmatolepis gracilis manca conodont zones and sediments were deposited in middle to upper part of the carbonate slope. Climax of turbidite system progradation took place between Palmatolepis gracilis expansa and Bispathodus costatus conodont zones
