| Description | The aim of this paper is to outline the position of the bishops of Prague (and Olomouc) during the 12th century through a collective biography and partial probes. In particular, the origins of the bishops, their relationship to the (ruling) prince, emperor and papal curia, as well as their contribution to the development and administration of the diocese in legal, administrative and liturgical terms are discussed. |
