| Description | In 1988, the First International Symposium on Monogenea (ISM) was held in České Budějovice, Czech Republic. This inaugural meeting was convened for all specialists on monogeneans to meet and discuss current research on the class. Five years later, second ISM was held in Montpellier, France, and the tradition continued 4 years lates in August 1997 when Third ISM returned to the Czech Republic and was convened in Brno. |
