Description Metalloproteins are low molecular proteins with catalytic and homeostatic function. The aim of this work was the quantification of metallothionein (MT)which produces at HMDE a well developed catalytic signal(peak H). The highest sensitivity of the MT determination was obtained with CPSA. Due to catalytic hydrogen evolution at highly negative potentials, picomolar concentrations of MT in various tissues were found.
