Description Hydraulic blow-out orbital fractures are precisely diagnosed by means of CT scans. Treatment procedure and selection of the most appropriate transplant and fixation material for orbital floor reconstruction is indicated after performing clinical examintaion of the injured patient. Application of metal titanium mesh, which is biologically inert, sufficiently ductile and firm, represents one of several alternatives. After the fracture has healed up the mesh is not being removed but remains steadily incorporated on the orbital floor. Actual results of treatment of both blow-out and combined fractures confirm the above method.
