| Description | Position in transport network is very significant factor for conditioning regional development. This fact has been valid mainly just now, because to very fast improvement of transport and telecomunication technologies in the course of the several last years and at the present time. It leads to extension of social and economic interactions. The aim of this paper is quantificating influences of various types of infrastructure to transport position on the base of calculating the index of transport position. The index should provide an objective possibility for comparing the transport positions of many places in the exploring region Vysočina. To evaluate the index of the transport position of the only places in the region the method of allocating exact number values to a certain type of infrastructure was used. |
