| Description | W.E. Henry's and H. Teglassi's systematic approaches to the stimulus characteristics of TAT are described. They are focused mostly on formal traits of stimulus aspects and less on the potential themes that can be evoked by the cards. Latent thematic stimulus capacity of pictures is illustrated with the help of the particular cards. Different sets of TAT cards are introduced with respect to their different diagnostic purposes. TAT set as suggested by Bellak and Abrams seems to be used most often and is therefore described from several points of view. Each card is exemplified by the story. Interpretation of one story based on stimulus characteristics of TAT pictures is given. |
