Description Gifted children with disabilities form, according to competent resources, an extremely heterogeneous group of children, with respect to school and psychic problems, special needs and consequently with respect to diagnostical and interventional approaches towards it. The goal of the presented artcle is to present typical school problems of these children, ways of their identication and typical cognitive abilities (profile), to compare the magnitude of the disparities between their strengths and weaknesses, to describe, analyse and specify possible significant differences in teachers and parental evaluations of child s abilities and handicaps and consequently, to explain possible negative interference of these judgements with full development of child s abilities.
