| Description | The paper deals with the changes of commuting pattern within the defined territory of Brno agglomeration. Using the indicators of outward and inward openness and nodality indicators the functional characteristics of Brno agglomeration were outlined on the national/regional and regional/local levels. Finally the typology of particular municipalities within the agglomeration was elaborated. The analysis depicts high centrality of the core city of Brno as well as the impacts of economic changes in the secondary centres to the functional structure of the area. |
