Description The outcome of third part of research project was to verify the methodology of identification of industrial cluster potentials in southern Moravia region and to use this methodology for identification of concrete companies potentials for clustering. The third part is the follow-up of the first and second research part and utilizes the collected data. The result of the project consists of the identification of companies with high potentials for clustering in the region of southern Moravia as well as the methodology for identification of such potentials in a region. Both can be used by MPO and regional government for deciding about targeted support of setting up of industry clusters. The methodology is conditioned by deep theoretical analysis of a general problem of setting up of industry clusters and by assessment of up-to-date experience of developed countries. The methodology is based on analysis of the nature of co-operation of selected companies with other businesses, and it is verified by empirical research on the ample of 152 companies in the region of southern Moravia and 22 companies co-operating with the most advanced of them. The results were defended at opponency twice during the course of the project with the positive results.
