| Description | A publication tries to describe ethnic conflicts in the two areas of former Eastern Bloc, in which the attempts of peaceful co-existence of local nations are still unsuccessful - the Balkans and Caucasus. The chapters deal with theoretical concept of this phenomenon and historical overview, sources, process, outcomes and resolution of the main armed conflicts, which happened in both areas after the fall of unifying communist ideology protected by the U.S.S.R. and the resulting general collapse of local power structures. |
