Description The 70s of the last century does not only represent the turnover time for relation between religion and modern society, but also it was an era of the fight for the shape of interpretation of environmental crises. These apparently dissimilar processes have surprisingly many common attributes and above all very similar outfall which defends from assignment on the traditional scale of dichotomy of political philosophy. This, which at least at the beginning seemed as reactivation of conservative attitude in churches, radicalization of feminist theory or contextualization of environmental crisis into broader framework, terminated in all cases by the victory of a new type of fundamentalism. Fundamentalism which unhesitatingly takes advantage of all means and technological conquests of hated modernity and which reactivates long time forgotten society of the Order, God or Mother Earth. The book Analysis of Deep Ecology endeavours to unweave the origin, development and decay of one of such a fundamental movement.
