Description | Material Phonetics and Phonology is an original electronic online text offering basic and up-to-date theoretical information on general phonetic and phonological concepts with regard to the needs of students of philology. The text is in addition complemented by exercises for self-study. The general exposition is then followed by concrete activities in particular languages. The orientation and the goal of the textbook is best shown on its contents: 1. Introduction. 2. Spoken and written speech. 3. Fields studying the sound of speech.
