| Description | A Study on local marian devotion, concerning the bishops city Pribor in northern moravia in Early Modern times.Late Gothic statue of Madonna and child was brought to the local tradition of cutlery in 1592 and 1613 installed on the main altar. During the 17th century, it was the intercession of Mary through her picture of city Pribor the quantity of miracles that have contributed to the reputation of local pilgrimage center. In 1695 the reports on Mary of Pribor collected then Father Holub. In his treatise titled foremost treasure, which is part of a comprehensive inventory of the temple, put both the testimony of witnesses, as well as various inscriptions on votive tables and more. Based on the surviving sources can monitor the amount of gifts and clothes for Mother of Pribor. In 1748, instead of the original dress was purchased new clothes for the statue, this time the clothes (more armor) of gilded silver. A similar collection of church, following the theft in 1876, writes in more detail then chaplain A. C. Stojan. |
