| Description | This text argues for interpreting the concept of diasporic religion not as a category of religion, by which certain religions would be categorised as diasporic (judaism for example), while other religions not (as catholicism for instance). Whether certain religious groups, communities or institutions are diasporic or not depends on actual social-political constellation of their trans-national relationships. |
