| Description | An issue of this article deals with expert evidence in cases of minor children, while divorce proceedings are emphasized. There are two main fields being discussed: experts position within Czech legal system and evidence evaluation. Role of expert evidence is overestimated in the Czech judicature which can strongly influence result of a case. Due to the insufficient qualification requirements of the experts, expertise is often inappropriately worked out. Eventually, some legislative proposals de lege ferenda inspired by foreign legal systems are broached. |
