| Description | Geographical information systems represent indispensable information background for most of human activities as well as tourism provides significant economic benefit for many regions development. Although GIS are used within tourism especially for visualization of significant tourist attractions, their potential is not fully used for sustainable tourism planning and assessment of tourism impact on landscape. Even GIS offer a plenty of analytic tools and spatial analysis their usage is not straight-lined in this case. Each region disposes of many not ever present variables which values and level of importance can not be measured by instruments. The solution can be in application of statistical indexes and multicriteria analysis for instance pair-wise comparison. |
