Description Mine works cause extensive and long-term environmental changes. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of deep mining on groundwater flow regime. It was based on evaluation of specific discharge distribution within active Rožná mine and abandoned and flooded Rosice-Oslavany mine districts. This study showed significant drop of specific discharge near both mine works. Within Rožná mine district the specific discharge decreases from 5,29 to -0,34 l.s-1.km-2 and in Rosice-oslavany mine district from 0,48 to -26,19 l.s-1.km-2. Specific discharge distribution proved considerable impact both active and abandoned and flooded mines to groundwater regime.
