| Description | The Field Mobile Labotatory PPCHL-AL-2 is a Czech Republic Army device used for monitoring of a radiation situation in places that were contaminated by radionuclides. The laboratory serves not only in a war conflict but also for environment monitoring in the case of any kind of radiation event. It is usually necessary to determine not only a radioactive contaminant but also its quantitative characteristics. This work deals with the problemacy of a treatment of smears and swabs, respectively, obtained from surfaces of different kinds in the dependence on a radioactive contaminant, the quality of contaminated surface and the choice of a smearing material. |
