| Description | One of the objectives of the EU - Multilingual Concept is to force interests for languages of neighbouring countries. The situation in a Mid-European region can be a good example for focusing these issues. This research brings a short review of the language contacts between the Czech and German elements in the past and today. From the point of view of the language policy, it sees possibilities for developing new contacts and economic advantages for both sides. |
