• Description: The paper is focused on issues of choice of future profession at the end of compulsory schooling in the context of adolescents selfconcept and identity. Empirical data are based on the longitudinal study ELSPAC (European Longitudinal Study of Pregnancy and Childhood) realized at the Masaryk University in Brno – the data from the interview (intended career choices) and questionnaire data are analyzed.
