• Description: Publication deals with the study of micro- and mesoclimate of Brno, Olomouc and Krakow cities. Analysis of air temperature regime and spatial variability of land surface temperatures derived from thermal imagery in Brno is presented. Thermal monitoring of areas with specific temperature regime in Brno and Olomouc is provided. Authors compare basic features of surface temperature variability in urban and rural environment. Relation between air temperature and land forms in Krakow is analyzed.
