Description Mindfulness is a mind skill that has been systematically cultivated in the tradition of Buddha teaching for more than 2500 years, in the last decades applied with increasing interest in modern psychology and psychotherapy (Didonna, 2008). Paper offers summary of research findings in the world as well as findings of one of the first research in the Czech Republic, which was focused on exploring client’s experiences during satitherapy treatment (Koutny, 2010). Client’s perspective of mindfulness applying in the therapy session and everyday life is enriched by the view of therapist, which is the methodological novelty in the inquiry usage of interpretative phenomenological analyses (Smith, 2009).
