When can I use the psychological counselling service?

The psychological counselling service is intended for students who find themselves in a difficult life situation that complicates their studies.

We are most often contacted by students who:

  • have been feeling unwell (mentally or physically) for extended periods;
  • lack meaning and a sense of fulfilment in their current studies;
  • are in a difficult life situation, in shock after losing someone or something;
  • suffer from fear, anxiety, or panic attacks because of their studies;
  • feel lonely and don't fit in with their classmates;
  • are not self-confident and suffer from stage fright and have trouble communicating with people around them;
  • have trouble making up their minds and getting their priorities straight.

If you have any of these issues, don't despair and know that just by reading this page you have made the first step to improving your mental health.
