Our activities

PhD Centre
We methodically manage the agenda of doctoral studies and cooperate closely with the faculty departments responsible for the field. Within the MUNI PhD Academia, we are engaged in activities aimed at the all-round development of the competences of the actors of doctoral studies (doctoral students, supervisors, etc.) We administer applications for recognition of foreign education and qualifications in the DSP.

Scientometric support
We map the scientific environment and provide materials for research strategies. We create analyses of publication activity for the needs of the university, faculties or research teams. We use appropriate data sources and work with metrics responsibly and in context. We also provide bibliometric services on an individual basis.

Research evaluation
We manage research evaluation at the institutional and national level, speak out in the field of evaluation in the Czech Republic and participate in international professional communities. We coordinate quality assessment systems, monitor R&D performance and offer methodological support for reporting research activities.

Academic affairs
We provide habilitation proceedings and proceedings for the appointment of Professor (including accreditation). We organise academic ceremonies and Scientific Board of MU meetings. We administer honours, university prizes and prizes awarded by other institutions. We administer the Karel Engliš Grand Auditorium (University-wide auditorium).
