Brno has a student city soul as 80,000 inhabitants are students.
With more than 2,000 international students at MU you will never feel alone.
Brno is full of theatres, concert halls and music clubs with a wide selection of concerts and events.
The Czech Republic is one of the safest countries in the world and currently ranks eighth in the Global Peace Index.
Famous firework show, Majáles spring celebration or lantern parade. Those are only a few examples of unique events that are not common anywhere else.
The local facilities cater to a wide range of sports including aerobics, floorball, swimming and volleyball and many others.
Public transport is really cheap, and reliable, and it takes you everywhere. And it even works during the night.
Enjoy a picnic with your friends in many green places around Brno. F.e., public grills in Brno Reservoir or Lužánky Park are great places to spend an afternoon.
