I love working in theatre and intercultural encounters
Professor Pavel Drábek teaches drama and theatre practice, history and theory at the University of Hull in the United Kingdom. He translates older English drama, and writes opera librettos and plays for the radio and the theatre. He spends his holidays in the Czech Republic.

MU holds another reunion for international community
Masaryk University continued with the activities of the programme for international graduates launched last year and organised another outdoor barbecue, with almost 100 participants from 21 countries attending.

MU graduate helped translate words for Czech-Ukrainian picture dictionary
Masaryk University graduate Jitka Janů contributed to the Czech-Ukrainian picture dictionary developed by the Berlin-based TüftelAkademie. She did not translate the words directly from Czech but via German.

Graduates from MU make business with kombucha
For two years, Michal Ďuriník and František Špás, friends who met at the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University, have been producing kombucha, a drink beneficial to human health. They were led to their successful business by chance.
