From electrician to PhD – a life shaped by fitness
Jan Caha, a graduate of the Faculty of Sports Studies, discovered bodybuilding and fitness at a young age. That passion eventually led him to Masaryk University and has shaped both his professional and personal life.

I love working in theatre and intercultural encounters
Professor Pavel Drábek teaches drama and theatre practice, history and theory at the University of Hull in the United Kingdom. He translates older English drama, and writes opera librettos and plays for the radio and the theatre. He spends his holidays in the Czech Republic.

MU holds another reunion for international community

MU graduate helped translate words for Czech-Ukrainian picture dictionary
Masaryk University graduate Jitka Janů contributed to the Czech-Ukrainian picture dictionary developed by the Berlin-based TüftelAkademie. She did not translate the words directly from Czech but via German.
