| Description | Issues of 3D modelling of buildings and built-up areas are usually split into four parts. This paper summarizes possible ways of 3D data acquiring, storing, visualization and analysis, too. From data storage methods are described in detail standardized formats as interoperable solutions. Likewise from the visualization techniques are emphasized internet and web technologies. Practical matters of 3D buildings modelling are documented on model of the Faculty of Science at the Masaryk University in Brno on Kotlářská Street. This 3D model had been created in ArcGIS software and then was transformed to CityGML, 3D PDF and X3DOM. Finally, there are summarized results in conclusion. |
