Description Coron-arography is a medical procedure, which can be performed ambulatory or during a short-term hospital-isation. The goal of our study was the evaluation of the most common nursing procedures connected with a short-term hospitalisation and description of the basic characteristics of the studied group of patients including the position of accession punctures, other medical procedures during the hospitalisation and patients' comorbidities. The data of 100 patients after a coronarography were summarised via the retrospective analysis of the medical documentation - with the focus on nursing care documentation of the patients. A good nursing care is one of the vital factors, which positively influence the hospitalisation of the patients after coronarography. Based on the characteristics of the studied group of patients, several specific areas of nursing care were evaluated as the very important not only for nurses, but for the nursing staff in general.
