Description The paper is an outcome of a research project currently in progress, involving the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University in Brno in cooperation with the Faculty of Pedagogy Education?, University of West Bohemia in Plzen. The objective is to study the learning process of the current generation of students with focus on using modern technologies and electronic sources for their studies. The paper contains a presentation of selected research findings including comparison with the previous qualitative research results. Characterization of different types of respondent relationships to using modern technologies and presenting the young generation`s opinions on e-learning and using ICT for their studies is a considerable part of this presentation.
