| Description | In 1945 Tecchi published another collection of short autobiographical proses with the title "Lisola appassionata". He was inspired by his stay in the city of Palermo where he was sent at the beginning of the World War II to work as a postal censor to carry out his military service. He called Sicily, the place he had not known before, "the island of light" and "the inexhaustible source of human feelings". Literary portraits of local women as well as vivid descriptions of the countryside form, even in this collection of his, an interesting part of his short stories. |
