| Description | The article deals with the problem of air pollution and its health effects. The aim of this paper is to classify economic costs that arise in this connection. This paper characterizes the air quality in Ostrava and subsequently analyses the health of children, which are the most affected by the pollution. In this article are categorized the costs incurred directly in connection with poor health conditions in Ostrava. The classification is partially based on the method Cost-of-illness, partly on the original appraisal that reflects the specific conditions in the area. |
