| Description | The authors describe the case of unusual deadly car accident which happened in Brno-venkov. The utility van Ford Tranzit collided with an elderly woman on bicycle. The van driver was passing the bicycle, but didn't manage the maneuver and went off the road. As a result of this accident the woman first riding the bicycle was pressed under the overturned van. The woman suffered injuries leading to instant death at the scene of the accident. The body had to be extricated by fire department, using special equipment. We present this case report as a poster, describing the forensic medicine findings in detail and analysing the accident mechanism of particular injuries. |
