| Description | The paper focuses on the legal aspects of licensing of research data under the public licenses in order to fulfill the Open Definition. Firstly, the relevant legal institutes are presented and discussed. The Creative Commons 4.0 and Open Data Commons public licenses are introduced as legal tools how to achieve the Open Data status. |
