| Description | The aim of the paper is to outline chronological development of the excavated part of the Linear Pottery Culture (LBK) settlement in Těšetice-Kyjovice "Sutny". First of all, the internal structure of the settlement was analysed, including individual layouts of houses. Below are the results of the evaluation of LBK pottery from the viewpoint of fragmentation, as well as the production technology, morphology of forms and decoration; pottery for the time being is the most important for dating of the LBK settlements. The results gathered from evaluating the ceramic material will be back-checked to the terrain situation where we will focus in detail on the relations between houses, graves and a linear pottery deposit. We also try to outline a model of chronological development of the site. In this regard we point out the issue of formative processes because the studied part of the site is heavily disturbed by post-LBK settlement. |
