| Description | The author is dealing with the settlement of the Czech colonists in what is now Bosnia and Herzegovina during Austro-Hungarian rule and the development of the colonies, as in period up to 1918, and in the later period do 1941. year. Czechs who were in Bosnia and Herzegovina began to settle during the Austro-Hungarian Empire, until today, are part of the Bosnian national mosaic. Urban communities are already largely lost the knowledge of the Czech language, and most connections with Czech culture, but in a few Czech villages in northwestern Bosnia traditions and languages are still living. This paper deals primarily with these rural communities, and their origin and development to the outbreak of the Second World War. |
