| Description | The publication issued on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the consecration of the Brno church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary contains treatises about the history of the construction of the church, about the obtaining of its equipment and decoration, about the history of its parish, as well as about the visual and iconographic concept of this unique work of sacred art, whose authors strived about the synthesis of architecture with painting, sculpture and arts and crafts. An innovative iconographic concept of the decoration is focused chiefly on the celebration of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Results of actual researches of its authors are taken into consideration at the publication. |
