| Description | Since nineties the national human rights institutions are mushrooming. The Czech Republic lacks such an institution working under the Paris Principles although the Ombudsman's Office almost complies with them. The paper suggests that the Ombudsman's Office should make the necessary changes to be recognised as the NHRI which would strenghten its impact domesticaly and increase the visibility on the international arena. |
