Art, which updated discussion not only about the general relationship of man to technology, but also the dualism of the human mind and the physical body. We are talking about the virtual reality art. What expectations should IT specialists and scientists from the development of virtual reality? And what topics this technology later brought into the art and the overall socio-cultural sphere? In this lecture, we seek answers to these questions through analysis of works of art that dealing with disembodiment, virtualization of corporeal body and reembodiment as the central themes of artistic creation. |
