| Description | The big retrospective exhibition commemorated the 100th birth anniversary of František Štěpán. Apart from more than 140 drawings, paintings and art prints, the exhibition also presented photos and other documents concerning the life of the artist who was closely connected with the Tišnov region. Štěpán, a student of E. Hrbek, P. Dillinger and F. Süsserat at the ŠUŘ (School of Arts and Craft) in Brno and of T. F. Šimon at the Academy of Fine Arts, was inspired mostly by social art of the 20’s and later also focused on advertising and promotional graphics. |
