Description The 28 European Member States are operating 45 information systems for the administration of direct payments to farmers, so called Land Parcel Identification Systems (LPIS). Almost all such information systems use a proprietary data model. Data integration among various LPIS platforms is therefore complicated. Our approach aims at extending the INSPIRE application schema for the spatial data theme “Agricultural and aquacultural facilities” to support data integration among any LPIS application. Such solution will also enable to import LPIS data do any GIS application as well as to process data originating from various LPIS databases for the cross-border applications.
