| Description | The contribution analyses the representation of Polish history in Czech textbooks of history on the of two coherent series of textbooks publishing by the Scientia publishing house in Prague and the Nová škola (New School) publishing house in Brno from the 7th to 9th grade of primary school. Thoughts on the state of the representation of Polish history in presented textbooks allow us to state that it is generally commensurate with the possibilities of history teaching from the early Middle Ages to the present. The textbooks contribute to strenghtening of the image of Poles in Czech young generation. The study is based on scientific analysis of methodological approaaches and archival documents. |
