| Description | This contribution addresses the impacts of drought upon human society in South Moravia in the 18th–20th centuries, utilizing documentary evidence (parish and village chronicles, taxation and damage records, and correspondence). The consequences of drought are reviewed with respect to their impacts on agriculture (with special emphasis on crop production), water resources, and socio-economic conditions. |
