Description What are the particularities of pupils and students with dyslexia and/or dysgraphia? What are the areas in which Special Educational Needs (SEN) make life harder and what are the areas in which they make it easier? What does it mean for EFL teachers in primary or secondary education? The plenary focuses on the main characteristics of pupils and students with Specific Educational Needs, mainly dyslexia, which seems to be the prevailing issue in EFL classrooms for both the pupils as well as their teachers. The main problem from the teacher´s point of view is the fact that each dyslexic child is different, which makes the preparation of the EFL lesson very demanding. The question is - what are the suitable possibilities and methods for successful integration of SEN pupils in the EFL classroom? We will try to answer this question on the basis of the educational research carried out in the field as well as on the basis of the SEN and EFL practice.
