| Description | In the following study we focus on the social changes of a global nature. I believe that many of the findings and sociologists’ hypotheses are very serious in relation to reflecting the new role of helping profession, especially with regard to the issue of new emerging need to build living projects. The basic task of the study lies in mapping the late modern social conditions that may affect the nature of helping profession and also professionals’ attitude to the way they view the clients’ life situations. The study raises the question: Which social changes associated with late modernity (postmodernity) and whether and how they can touch the helping professions, especially in relation to new emerging needs? |
