| Description | In patients with CKD the high prevalence of elevated TnT levels is proven. Therefore, using a higher cut-off value of TnT for the diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome is necessary. However, this recommendation may be associated with a possible increased risk of false negative findings. The diagnostic significance of TnT level for exclusion of AMI in patients with CKD is not reliable. |
