Description At present, concept of inclusion is at different levels of development in European countries (European Agency, 2003). In relation to the offer of support for students with special educational needs, we distinguish numerous different paths of development in Europe. Generally we can say that there is a trend towards transformation of special schools to supporting or special educational centers, which are meant to promote further education of teachers, development and dissemination of teaching materials and methods, inclusive schools and parents, and partly also to support individual students and students in transition from school to working life. In this article, we will deal with the analysis of current legislative measures in the Czech Republic with regard to inclusive education in mainstream schools, comparisons with the concept of individual assistance in learning and development in Baden-Württemberg in Germany and the issue of supportive measures offered to students with special educational needs in inclusive schools from the perspective of Switzerland, the canton of Zurich, in relation to the International classification of functioning, disability and health.
