Description The paper deals with the question of the educational concept: pupils´ voice, the question searches for quality of teaching. In the literature there is presented a lot of criteria of quality teaching, but usually there is absent of criteria building on the pupils´ evaluation. On the example of 32 recordings of literature lessons on grammar school and interviews with pupils is illustrated very well evaluated school subject. One of the key criteria of quality teaching is pupils´ participation during the lesson. While it does not seem to be traditional claim that the more pupils are engaged, the more decrease the intellectual demands of lesson. Another criterion is the opportunity to experience success, but I am searching for this success in the pedagogical communication.
