| Description | The writer’s diary is a specific genre, a subtype of a diary. The author deals with the character and attributes of this genre type and pays attention to the writer’s relation to literary work. In Dostoyevsky’s Diary of a Writer a dialog of a writer and his work is shown in allusions, motifs and works integrated in the diary; in Parnicki’s Dzienniki z lat osiemdziesiątych, a writer’s work dominates the journal; in the diaries by Viewegh Báječný rok and Další báječný rok reception and reaction to the writer’s work play a key role. |
