Description The main subject of presented study is dramma per musica entitled Amalasunta composed in 1726 and its first performance in the same year at Count Questenberg’s chateau in Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou. Its author was Antonio Caldara (1670-1736), a prominent composer who held the position of Vice-Kapellmeister at the Viennese Imperial Court during the years 1716-1736.
